BREAKING NEWS: South Australian women will soon be able to learn their individual breast density at all screening clinics
The announcement from BreastScreen South Australia follows the successful completion of a pilot study of breast density notification. The study found that over 90% of women want to know their breast density. Knowing their breast density made women feel more informed to make decisions regarding their breast care.
Notification is already available in 3 of the state's clinics, all clinics will provide this information from August 8th 2023.
